Not sure if your tyres are legal, safe or ready for another winter? Drive into our Walsall depot any time during opening hours and one of our technicians will give your tyres a thorough once-over - completely free and with zero obligation.

What We Check

• Tread depth measured across the full width of each tyre
• Pressures set to your vehicle manufacturer specification
• Sidewalls inspected for cuts, bulges and cracking
• Uneven wear patterns that suggest alignment issues
• Tyre age - rubber degrades even with plenty of tread left
• Spare wheel condition where your car carries one

If everything looks good we will tell you so and send you on your way. If something needs attention you will get an honest quote there and then - the choice is always yours.

When Do You Need New Tyres?

As a rule of thumb, book a replacement when you spot any of these - or whenever a check raises doubt:

• Tread at or below 3mm - legal, but wet braking is already fading
• The 1.6mm legal minimum, or the tread wear bars sitting level
• A visible bulge, cut or split on the sidewall - do not drive
• Cracking in the rubber, usually with age of six years or more
• Uneven wear across one tyre - a message about alignment or pressures
• Tyres that lose pressure faster than they used to, or thump
